Courtney’s + Matt’s blush + grey Wadsworth Mansion wedding is featured on Every Last Detail today! I am thrilled to finally share all the elegant black tie wedding details with you all.
Courtney fell in love with The Rowayton Suite from The Rosy Collection (one of my faves, too!) so we created her wedding paper story around this look. We printed on luxe cotton stock and carried through the look to her day-of paper, including tented menu table signs (a great detail with the long tables they had) and grey escort cards to greet guests as they entered the reception. The team at Jubilee Events designed a gorgeous affair, including glamorous chandelier lighting from Ryan Designs. I loved the touches of gold, especially the wooden table numbers! Courtney + Matt, you are the sweetest couple and I love what we created together! I wish you two many years of love + laughter.
Molly + James’ colorful Connecticut lakeside wedding was one for the books! Most of their guests were coming from out of state, so they hosted a full weekend of celebration for everyone in coastal Connecticut. This meant a lot of information to communicate to them, which presented an interesting challenge. I wanted to avoid having it feel busy and too focused on content vs. design, so we decided to use icons and color-coding to help organize all the details. (Fortunately they had a bright + extensive color palette for their wedding, which included coral, greens, navy and gold.) Each event had a symbol and color as shown on the card, then the bride’s sister hand-drew a map with the icons showing the location of all the events. We kept the invitation card itself classic with a custom-designed crest, and added a note of glamour with their initials in gold foil. There was no way to open this suite and not get a big smile on your face!
The icons and crest were then used throughout the wedding paper story, including custom coasters, napkins, drink stirrers, and plenty of signage!
Stacie Shea Events executed a gorgeous lakeside affair, and Vicki + Erik were on hand to capture every last beautiful detail! Scroll down to see all the pretty from their big day. (Man, it was hard to narrow down which photos to share!)
Molly + James, thank you for trusting me with your incredible vision for your wedding. You gave me a challenge that I loved, and I wish we could do it all again! Cheers to years of happiness together.
Melissa + Jordan’s vintage lavender + lace Hartford, CT wedding was truly one of a kind! Their paper story started with their custom wedding invitation suite, which incorporated a custom lavender lace pattern and a real lace belly band. There were also vintage key details throughout their stationery, including actual ones tied to calligraphed escort card tags that hung on a vintage door! My favorite detail was the vintage typewriter that held up a sign directing guests to their guest book. I love when couples incorporate creative details like that! Scroll down for all the pretty details executed by the spectacular William Parkinson Events and captured by Jenny Naima Photography!
Melissa + Jordan, thank you for letting me be part of your unique + gorgeous wedding! It was a joy to work with you both.
Today I’m delighted to finally share Lizzy + Jay’s gold foil black tie wedding at The Westchester Country Club! I worked with sweet Lizzy and her delightful mom on their entire wedding paper story, which was elegant, classic, and luxurious with touches of gold foil, navy and black. The main inspiration was a monogram that was classic but not stuffy, and was gold foil stamped on the invitations and menu cards. The couple used it on their cake and even had it printed as a pattern on the groom’s bow tie! Scroll down for their full paper story and gorgeous event (with escort cards from Belles Lettres Calligraphy), coordinated by Lyndsey Hamilton Events + captured by Craig Paulson Photography.
Lizzy + Jay (and Laurie!), you were such a delight to work with from start to finish. I miss our fun meetings and was so honored to work with you along your wedding journey. Cheers to many years of nuptial bliss!
Guys, have I got a swoon-worthy wedding to share today! Kim + Greg’s rustic watercolor vineyard wedding (featured on Style Me Pretty today, woo hoo!) has all the makings of a signature Roseville paper story: florals, watercolor, and fun materials. Their Priam Vineyards wedding in Connecticut is overflowing with pretty + thoughtful details, since they really wanted to celebrate the natural beauty of Connecticut and the eco-friendly practices of the vineyard.
For their invitation, we printed on wood veneer for that rustic touch, but created watercolor floral details to soften the overall look. The final piece was the watercolor belly band with their initials. For day-of paper, we carried through the look to tented menu cards on each table (I love using food icons!), s’mores kit favor stickers, bride + groom chair signs, and Instagram signage. They opted for a lot of chalkboard signage to maintain the integrity of the vineyard’s sustainability practices, and even had Chloe the VW Photobooth on hand for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour!

Kim + Greg, you may be the sweetest couple I’ve had the pleasure of working with to date! Thank you for giving me the creative freedom to tell your amazing paper story. I know you guys have lots more adventure ahead of you!
Today L + H’s Napa winery custom watercolor crest wedding is featured today on Style Me Pretty! (It feels like the month of the custom watercolor heraldry on the blog!) Lizette came to us with her crest already designed by Happy Menocal, and we designed a wedding invitation suite + day-of paper elements with it. Her watercolor crest had olive branches + grape leaves as a nod to her family’s vineyard in California (which was also the wedding venue, so special!). Scroll down to check out all the pretty paper details and head over to Style Me Pretty for the full feature!
Lizette + Harrison, thank you for letting me be a part of your drop dead gorgeous wedding! I wish you two a lifetime of love, happiness + good vino :).
Today I’m sharing Elizabeth + Matt’s watercolor crest gold foil farm wedding from last September! They got married at the gorgeous Inn at Fernbrook Farms in New Jersey. The space is filled with color from lush gardens (a dream for me!), so we made sure their wedding paper story reflected just that.
Their story started with one of Lemontree Calligraphy’s gorgeous custom heraldry crest work. Ever since my feature on Oh So Beautiful Paper for Jen + Barron’s custom watercolor crest invitation suite, the inquiries for crest have been pouring in! I love when couples opt for the crest as it speaks to the core of what Roseville loves: creating something that truly reflects the bride + groom. Elizabeth even used the watercolor crest on a custom cornhole set! For the invitation we paired the crest with classic fonts + gorgeous gold foil, and carried her classic floral style through her entire paper story. Scroll down to see all the pretty via Ulysses Photography!
Elizabeth + Matt, thank you for being the kindest + most organized clients a girl could get! I wish you continued happiness in your journey together.
I usually don’t like to play favorites with my weddings, they’re like my kids. But Nina + Brian’s wedding is one that is very close to my heart. Not only was the couple fabulous to work with (which included the assistance of the amazing planner Amy Champagne), but their wedding + style was signature Roseville. Fun, fresh, while still elegant + thoughtful.
Here’s a new little thing I’m doing for my blog posts – one shot of the progression of the paper story!
For the save the dates, they wanted to be a little more relaxed + fun. And what’s more fun than watercolor + gold foil?
I loved all the sparkle touches against the soft blushes + pinks!
For the invitation, we went a bit more elegant with subtle watercolor branches + blush envelopes. I loved the calligraphy style from the fabulous Belles Lettres Calligraphy!
It’s important to me to think about the entire tablescape–linens, china, flatware–when I design the day-of paper. This way I can create an overall look that is thoughtful + well-balanced.
So many fun paper details! The coasters for guests to put on their glass so they aren’t taken while they dance are my favorite.
Nina + Brian, thank you for being such a beautiful, stylish + relaxed couple, and letting me come along for the ride in your wedding planning! I’ll miss our chats about paper details + baby nap schedules, and wish you the best on your continued journey as a family of three.
This year has brought another set of challenges + accomplishments, days feeling like I can do it all and others where I seem to have fallen short on all counts. On the defeatist days, looking at photos of my couples always reinvigorates me. I’m blessed to have a job where I get paid to be creative, and to work with people during one of the most exciting times in their lives. I’m blessed that this job lets me be a mom + wife on my terms, which is what I wished for when I walked down the aisle. It’s not always easy, but at the end of the year when I add it up, the joy far outweighs the struggle.
Here are just a handful of my amazing clients who this year have inspired + challenged me in new ways, and I say thank you to all of you.
Sean + Robb’s aviation backyard wedding was a one-of-a-kind design, so it’s no surprise to see it featured on Snippet & Ink and gracing the pages of The Knot Magazine!
The grooms are both pilots, so they celebrated their shared passion with aviation details throughout the wedding, designed + coordinated by the amazing Amy Champagne Events. I kept the paper modern + masculine, with escort cards resembling boarding passes, paper airplane menus, and table cards named after their favorite airports. Scroll down to see the gorgeous images, courtesy of Athena Blude Photography!
Sean + Robb, thanks for letting me be a part of your seriously cool wedding celebration!
