Real Wedding: Michelle + Tim @ Waveny House

Oh, how I loved working with Michelle + the whole TWL team on this vintage romantic wedding last season. Michelle came to me with a gorgeous color scheme of soft pinks + greys along with lace and metallic accents. At our initial meeting, she told me she’d been collecting vintage skeleton keys to use somehow on her day, so we made it a main design component in her wedding invitation suite. {Thanks to Brooke Allison Photo for all the gorgeous shots!}I brought in the lace element and added some texture by tying the suite with actual lace. A fun take on the traditional belly band!Instead of individual programs, I created a poster that greeted guests at the ceremony. Simple table numbers complemented the gorgeous blooms by Fleurescent. Amy Champagne knocked it out of the park as usual with planning + design. Love these linens! We used those lovely keys with the escort cards, which we tied with the same lace from the invitation. They were placed on vintage gold and silver trays as you entered the reception.Congratulations to Tim + Michelle, and thank you for letting me be part of your beautiful day!
