My Favorite Blogs

Monday, January 21, 2013

My Goodreads updates have probably been a bit boring for my followers! The reason is that  nowadays much of my reading time is devoted to blogs. Every day I go to my RSS feeder app on my iPhone and catch up on all the ones I follow. Blogs are a fantastic (not to mention free) resource for those who are blogging themselves, looking for inspiration, or building a business.

Today I thought I would share some of my favorites with you!

{FOR THE DESIGNER & FASHIONISTA}

Atlantic-Pacific

Blair Eadie puts together fabulous outfits that serve as serious eye candy. It’s those ensembles you love to believe you could pull off if only you had more money, time, and swagger.

Design Love Fest

Graphic Designer & blogger extraordinaire. Bri Emery & her team blog about fashion, branding, DIY projects, and lots more. My favorite part is her advice series for business owners and designers.

The Glitter Guide

Combining fashion and general lifestyle tips, the GG is an all-around great blog for the fabulous gal.

{FOR THE PAPER LOVER}

Oh So Beautiful Paper

This is a must-read for any stationery designer. Nole features loads of beautiful invitations and cards, and sprinkles in fun DIY projects.  A dream of mine is to one day have my work featured here!

{FOR THE ETSY SELLER & ENTREPRENEUR}

Oh My! Handmade Goodness

Generally fabulous advice, and you can list your Etsy items through their site for free. Who doesn’t love free advertising?

The Etsy Blog

Their series “Quit Your Day Job” tells stories of various Etsy store sellers and how they have found success on the site. Invaluable advice and motivation!

Everything Etsy

A great combination of tutorials, advice as well as DIY tutorials and projects. It’s definitely a great site to consider for advertising your store.

Making Things Happen

Lara Casey is the editor of Southern Weddings Magazine and tours the country with her “Making Things Happen” & “Making Brands Happen” workshops. They empower people to go for what they want, in life and business. She is the ultimate female entrepreneur and her posts always give me that extra boost of motivation.
