It’s hard to believe it’s the last day of 2012. So many people are figuring out their new year’s resolution and thinking ahead to what’s in store for 2013. This is common practice, but we often forget to reflect back on the year we’ve had. One of my favorite blogs, Making Things Happen, had a great exercise for goal setting. Today I wanted to share the first 3 steps with you: 1. Make your list of things you made happen in 2012 and things you are grateful for. 2. In business and/or life, what didn’t work well to help you live your best life this year and what needs improvement? 3. What fires you up? Forcing yourself to sit down and list the answers to these questions may seem difficult, but if you’re honest with yourself the exercise will prove very beneficial. Introspection is a valuable tool! The third step was also to make a Pinterest board of those things that fire you up and keep you motivated. Here’s a look at mine to inspire you!
