This blog post is waaaaaay overdue, but the wedding is too beautiful not to share (even if it was 2+ years ago!). And what a thrill to see this East Hampton beach watercolor crest wedding featured on Style Me Pretty!
Alison + Kurt got married in September at a private home in The Hamptons, and their celebration was filled with lots of thoughtful details + special paper elements. It all began with their watercolor crest painted by Lemontree Calligraphy, incorporating their color palette of blues, blushes + greenery. As always, I took elements from the crest and used them throughout their invitation suite and day-of paper. They opted for lots of floral elements plus a one-of-a-kind beach scene to represent their East Hampton locale. Their reception took place in their private home, but they had a Friday welcome party on the water plus lots of gorgeous portraits right in the sand!
I balanced out all the watercolor hues with rich gold foil for their names on the invite. We had lots of inserts for this suite because of all the events they were having over the weekend for their guests. For the reception, Alison wanted to incorporate lots of details surrounding her family, including photos of loved ones from both her and Kurt’s families. We kept everything simple + elegant, letting the character of their beautiful backyard and nearby beach be the driving force in their wedding aesthetic!

Alison + Kurt, thank you for letting me play a role in your incredibly gorgeous wedding! You two are a beautiful couple, were lovely to work with, and I know marriage will continue to treat you well :).
