Today I am sharing Catherine + Michael’s watercolor crest wedding at Hill-Stead Museum in Connecticut, and this one is a stunner! We worked with the talented Lemontree Calligraphy to create their custom watercolor wedding crest, featuring two tigers representing their high school mascot. (One is sleeping because the bride loves to sleep in while the groom is an early riser; I just love learning these fun details about my couples!) Their palette featured fresh blues + greens, perfect for an outdoor summer tented garden wedding. We kept their paper story classic + elegant since the team at Sixpence For Your Shoe Events created a gorgeous look, including beautiful linens, greenery chandeliers and floral table runners inside the reception tent.My favorite paper detail was the escort card boards. These custom watercolor cards created a beautiful reception entrance moment for guests to enjoy. Justin & Mary Photography was on hand to capture all their custom wedding stationery, including their crest menus, programs, table numbers, and guest hotel boxes! Scroll down for all the swoon-worthy shots.
