Today I’m sharing Siobhan + Chris’ library-themed wedding that took place last July at the beautiful New Haven Lawn Club. Siobhan was as sweet as could be, and they had a wonderful theme to their wedding which truly reflected them as a couple. (They both love to read, and Siobhan is a writer + proofreader). The icing on the cake was the beautiful color palette of mint green, peach + gold. {Photo cred goes to my friend Brooke Allison!} I created a floral wreath pattern which served as the jumping off point for their paper story. We kept a vintage feel with kraft envelopes, and tied it all together with gold baker’s twine. Next was day-of paper, which included table numbers listed as chapters. Each “chapter” represented a stage in their love story. Below each of the beautiful arrangements (by the talented Diane Gaudett) was a small stack of books. We also created programs which incorporated part of that floral wreath pattern + the couple’s initials. An adorable flower girl with red hair has to be shared on the Roseville blog! My favorite detail was the escort card display. The couple’s friend made them a custom “card catalog” chest (remember using those in school?), and we created escort cards which went inside the drawers.
Congratulations to Siobhan + Chris!
Thanks to YOU for your lovely work–it made our day SO special. xoxo
