Jessica + Richard’s classic summer wedding at the Creek Club in Locust Valley was light, airy, and downright gorgeous! When she first contacted me wanting to create a custom watercolor crest, she knew exactly the look she wanted: simple, classic, with soft colors + lovely details! And working with her was equally as lovely. She and Richard were kind, enthusiastic, and well organized. A wedding vendor’s dream!
The creation of the watercolor crest was the jumping off point for the whole look + feel of her wedding. She wanted to incorporate delicate pink florals, greys, nautical rope and subtle pieces of coral as a nod to her beachside venue. We then printed the whole suite on double-thick felt stock for that luxurious effect! We then carried her watercolor crest + elements in her menu, programs, and my favorite: a custom petal toss display right outside The Church of Saint Joseph. We need more petal toss moments in the world, especially right now! We also featured acrylic signage throughout the wedding day. It illustrated one of my favorite wedding tips: reusing signage. Her welcome sign was displayed at her ceremony entrance then moved to her reception space. Two for the price of one!
Jessica’s look was timeless. She had a simple, perfectly tailored gown with a veil featuring lace details, and Richard was dashing in a classic black tuxedo. You can see from the gallery below that it was a real struggle deciding which of their portraits to share. With them, I figured more was better! And the Creek Club was the perfect spot for their classic affair. Their outdoor tented space allowed them to create exactly the look they wanted, with it overlooking the ocean. Breezy + beautiful! And those greenery chandeliers were breathtaking.
So scroll on down for my favorite moments from their beautiful day, plus the impeccable vendor team that pulled off every detail!
Jessica + Richard, you have beautiful style + hearts! I’m so honored I got to be part of your day, and wish you years of happiness together.
