Hi, friends! Today I’m excited to share our Los Angeles River Center Styled Shoot, which was recently featured on Glamour & Grace! This shoot was at the gorgeous LA wedding venue, Los Angeles River Center & Gardens, which has an amazing outdoor space (love that fountain area!). It was the perfect place to execute the whimsical glam look, which included bright pinks + peaches, lush florals, and lots of paper elements! All of this was executed by the team at The Blushing Details, and I loved working with them to execute their vision.

The first step for me was creating the custom wedding invitation suite. We incorporated flat gold foil to complement the softness of the pinks in the palette. I created a custom floral pattern inspired by the gates at the entrance of the River Center, then used it throughout the suite and day-of details. I then moved on to the menus, place cards tied to champagne flutes, cocktail sign, and—my favorite detail—the seating chart display. I hand tore the edges of each table card to give it some softness, which wasn’t lost since guests had to get close to find their table number. I love when your stationery serves as decor. It’s functional, but also a wow element when your guests enter the reception space.

The gold of the palette was carried through onto the seating chart display trellis, wedding cake, lanterns in the ceremony, and the string used on the menus and place card tags. The details don’t have to be in your face. The subtlety is what makes them special + thoughtful.

The whole setup was gorgeous, particularly with all the bright blooms strewn throughout the table + ceremony space. It is making me long for spring and the reemergence of some color in the yard!
