Our modern chic garden wedding inspiration shoot is featured on Cake and Lace Blog! This geometric-inspired shoot was so fun to work on with an incredible team of San Diego, California wedding vendors. The Lux Art Institute is a seriously cool space for a wedding (inside or out!), and is a perfect choice for that artsy, modern couple. The color palette included dusty rose and pale pinks with slate and shale grays, accented with warm metals and cooled with sage and jade greenery. To celebrate this I paired the soft colors with a bright metallic rose gold string to tie the invitation suite together. I wanted to celebrate the shapes of the Lux Art Institute venue throughout the suite, so I designed a custom die-cut shaped menu. I also incorporated marble (very on trend right now!) in the RSVP card and the place cards. Even though I am partial to stationery, the donut wall may be my favorite detail of this shoot! Not only is it delicious, but it makes such a cool statement in a clean, modern space.
