It’s been a crazy few weeks getting settled in Los Angeles, but I’m getting my groove back and excited to share this Lighthouse at Pier Sixty classic Black + Gold New York City wedding! Jeanelle + Marco wanted the quintessential Manhattan wedding feel, and wanted the city itself to be a focal point of their wedding paper story! We began with an elegant black + white save the date featuring the Manhattan skyline, tucked inside a gold envelope. (Is there anything more exciting than getting a shiny gold envelope in the mail?) We carried through the same feel to their wedding invitation, featuring the skyline this time in a custom liner and using gold foil on the invitation + reception cards. We added a modern punch to that black + white palette by printing the reception card with a black background. Though I’m always a die-hard fan of color, this goes to show that even a black + white invitation can be fresh + unexpected. For their day-of paper, I created custom menu cards, programs, table numbers + signage throughout the reception. It played perfectly into the crisp white florals, candlelight + all-around sophisticated venue. Stacie Shea and her team created the most gorgeous reception space with custom linens + mixed white candleholders. Scroll down to see all the gorgeous details captured by Jessica Haley Photography!
