I love illustrations, and wedding invitations with custom illustrations are all the rage. A good illustration looks EFFORTLESS, but trust me, these works of art require some serious talent + lots of practice! As part of my vow to keep doing, I signed up for one of the illustration courses with Nicole’s Classes. The truth is no matter how long you’ve been practicing your art/skill, there is always more to learn. We grow professionally (and personally!) when we try new things + push ourselves out of our comfort zone. I’m not ready to add “advanced illustrator” to my resume just yet, but I feel pumped to keep exploring this new direction in my art. So in honor of this, today I thought I’d share some pin-worthy illustrations! I love the textures + shadows these artists are able to capture, particularly in the 2 below! There’s something really cool about the these 2 below with black outlines.
