Alli + Scott | Colorful Boho Fig House Wedding

Alli + Scott’s Fig House LA celebration was like nothing I’ve ever done before! Their wedding story centered around color, their venue, their careers in the film industry, and their sweet dogs. Four seemingly disparate elements, but I love a challenge! Weaving them all together began with their wedding invitation.

I leaned on my go-to illustrator Brittany from Letter Lane Studio to create a watercolor of their sweet pups sitting underneath the fig tree outside the venue. I paired that with a custom envelope liner celebrating the iconic stained glass window in the house.

The icing on the cake was their vintage postage story celebrating iconic Hollywood actors. I say it a lot, but it’s true. Postage stories don’t have to be over the top to feel special. They had 3 similar stamps but it packed a big punch!

I really loved their ceremony because it had traditional Jewish elements like the kipper and the chuppah, but with a modern twist that reflected their style. The florals were boho, colorful + super-cool!

While their wedding invitation suite was full of color, their day-of items were a bit more restrained, focusing on a black + white palette and an art deco feel.

Guests were welcomed to the reception by a sign featuring one of the most iconic movie quotes, with a wedding twist :).

But the truly wow moment was the custom acrylic seating chart display. The tables were named after their favorite movie settings, and they were all listed together, celebrating their love of cinema. Their fandom finale was the custom illustrations of iconic movie + TV couples from each setting.

Overall, the wedding was undeniably Alli + Scott, and that is always my goal.
