My husband and I are officially back from our anniversary celebration in California wine country. We had some amazing food and wine experiences, but as we were discussing our trip highlights on the way home from the airport, we agreed that some of our favorite meals were those that cost less than $20 (which is saying a lot, particularly in Napa!). Here are a couple highlights: {Gott’s Roadside in St. Helena, CA & Sol Food Restaurant in San Rafael, CA} Not only was the food delicious, but the design of these spots really got my creative juices flowing. The colors and typography were just as fresh and exciting as the food itself. Having a cohesive and well-designed brand is just as important for a Michelin star restaurant as it is for the food truck outside your office. It tells a story and lets the random passerby know there are some serious eats to be had.
